Be an All Star
Can you move like Messi or weave like Ronaldo? Are you a midfielder, forward or goalie? Find out by joining the Collingwood All Stars!
The Collingwood All Stars program (CASP) is for young children to young adults who live in the City of Yarra and love soccer (ok you probably call it football).
We've a great program for young kiddies right up to senior players who want to get serious about the Beautiful Game.
Who can join
CASP is for anyone aged 8 to 18 who live in the City of Yarra.
We play every Monday evening during school term (expect for public holidays)
- Juniors (12 years and under) play from 3.30pm to 5pm
- Seniors (13+) play 5pm to 6.15pm
Wellington Street Futsal Pitch (corner of Wellington Street and Perry Street)
How it works
You'll do a mix of training and playing games for points.
Things get a bit serious when we get older, so older players train harder and play harder.
We also connect senior players to competitive leagues and clubs across Melbourne.
How to join
Rock up at the relevant time to your age group, and we'll sign you up. It's that easy.
We host two trophy nights a year, so you never know, you might see your name in gold on the Honour Board in the foyer of the Neighbourhood Justice Centre and go home with medals.
Be a coach
We encourage senior players to coach young players.
There's a lot more to coaching than blowing whistle (though there's plenty of that). Coaching is a great way to share your skills, learn the art of coaching, and improve your umpiring skills.
It's also a great way to learn leadership skills. Seriously, if you can coach a bunch of energetic kids, you can do anything.
Who runs CASP
CASP is run by footy-mad crew from the Victoria Police and Neighbourhood Justice Centre. We provide the equipment, training and umpiring, snacks and drinks.
We've been running CASP for over ten years and we're proud to watch our local kids growing up.
